I’ve followed and communicated with Gillian Whitney online for years. Everything she creates is 'top notch' and easy to understand. This book is no different..Like many of us, Gillian reinvents portions of her life (and her offerings to us) as she grows and gathers new experiences to pass along to others. Throughout this book, you’ll find “Ah HAH!” moments and say to yourself, “I never thought of that.”.One of my favorite sections is “From Consumer to Creator” (in chapter 2, my Kindle tells me). "Easy peasy" is not what most aspiring authors think are the right words to describe their thoughts about actually writing their own book ... right? I mean, if it was that easy, everyone would do it!Well, Gillian Whitney believes a whole lot more of us COULD and SHOULD, even if we're concerned about doing it.My biggest takeaway was her idea of looking back at all of our already-created articles, blogs, half-done thoughts and using those as jumping-off points!We don't necessarily have to make everything up fresh; we can and should consider what we've already written and freshen it up if need be. Many of us have the desire to write an impactful book to inspire and edutain, and her step-by-step approach demystifies the writing process, taking our mindset from impossible to probable while reminding us we’re not the only ones feeling overwhelmed and overcoming fears.Reading this book is like receiving support from a warm, trusted leader and provides tools essential for success, including inspirational quotes, chapter summaries, and homework (one of my favorite sections was on repurposing content, which is ALWAYS a time-saver in itself).
